To stake VVV on BaseZap, you need VVV tokens in a Base-compatible wallet. The staking process involves two wallet interactions: an approval step and the stake step itself. Both are non-custodial — you remain in control throughout.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
  • A Base-compatible wallet (Base Smart Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow, or any wallet that supports Base mainnet)
  • VVV tokens on Base mainnet
  • A small amount of ETH on Base for gas (less than $0.01 per transaction)

Getting VVV

VVV is available on Base mainnet and was created via Clanker (contract: 0x8C1c...3ba3). You can acquire VVV through any Base-compatible DEX — search for the contract address to find the correct token pair and avoid lookalikes. Once you hold VVV in your wallet on Base, you are ready to stake.

Always verify you are on basefarcaster.vercel.app before approving any transactions. Never approve token allowances from unknown sites.

Navigate to the Stake page

Go to basefarcaster.vercel.app/stake in your browser or within the Farcaster mini app.

Connect your wallet

Click Connect Wallet and select your Base-compatible wallet (Base Smart Wallet, MetaMask, Rainbow, etc.). Make sure your wallet is set to Base mainnet.

Enter the amount to stake

Type the amount of VVV you want to stake into the input field. You can stake any amount up to your available VVV balance.

Approve the staking contract

Click Approve and confirm the approval transaction in your wallet. This grants the staking contract permission to move the specified amount of VVV on your behalf.
The approve step grants the staking contract permission to move your VVV. You only need to approve once per staking session. This is standard ERC-20 behavior.

Confirm the stake transaction

Once the approval confirms on-chain, click Stake and confirm the staking transaction in your wallet.

Staking complete

Your VVV is now staked — powered by Venice AI. You can return to this page at any time to view your staked balance.
Keep a small amount of ETH on Base for gas. Approval and stake transactions each cost less than $0.01.
